Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, counselors provide individual and group therapy, coordination of care, and case management to patients who are in recovery from substance abuse.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
● Utilize knowledge of a variety of evidence based therapeutic models, best practice, and theories to understand, plan, and reassess interventions.

● Understand and implement case management activities and engage in coordinating care with internal and external providers.

● Work to develop a comprehensive treatment plan and care plan that addresses needs, desired treatment outcomes, and an agreed upon plan of action with regular reassessment of progress.

● Maintain patient records related to screening, intake, treatment, continuing care, progress toward goals and objectives, discharge summary, and treatment outcomes that are accurate, concise, timely, and useful for coordinating treatment team planning, monitoring health and behavioral outcomes, and review.

● Coordinating and cooperating with local agencies and organizations when necessary to expedite treatment for each patient.

Qualifications

Qualifications Level I:
Associate’s/Bachelor's degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences preferred
1-3 years of prior Substance Abuse Counseling experience preferred
LCDP required
Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
Time management & organizational skills
Bilingual a plus

Qualifications Level II:
Master’s degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences preferred
6 years of prior Substance Abuse Counseling experience preferred
LCDP required
Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
Time management & organizational skills
Bilingual a plus

Qualifications Level III:
Master’s degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences preferred
7 years of prior Substance Abuse Counseling experience preferred
LCDP required

Hours:
● Full Time: Tues-Sat / Sun- Thurs
● 1st shift 7am-3pm
● 2nd shift 3pm-11pm
● Flex shift (some am / some pm)
● Part Time may be discussed

Compensation:
● LCDP Level I $42.3-47.67k
● LCDP Level II $47.6-52.9k
● LCDP Level III $52.9-58.2k
